I have been practicing Hatha Yoga since 1990, when I was an art student, in Aberdeen. I later moved to the Middle East and my first Maha Yoga Teacher Training was with Shiva Das, at his Yoga and Ayurveda Clinic, in Muscat, Oman. He taught me Asana, Yoga Philosophy and History as well as Ayurvedic Massage. Under his guidance, I learned meditation. I studied directly with him for 6 months.
Upon returning to Dubai, I took regular classes in the styles of Sivananda, Iyengar, Vinyasa and Jivamukti and had a regular Ashtanga Vinyasa self practice. In 2006, I travelled to Koh Samui and undertook Paul Dallaghan’s 300+ hours Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training, at Centred Yoga, where I met two excellent teachers, Jeff and Harmony Lichty, who I later invited to Dubai and assisted them in workshops and Teacher Trainings.
In 2016, I began a 3-year Shamanic Training at The Edinburgh Shamanic Centre, deepening my self-development and spirituality. Healing of the self, others and planetary healing is possible through the inner journey of awakening the Spiritual Warrior. The Spiritual Warrior seeks visions that benefit all and is centred in love. I will be learning Soul Retrieval, Extraction Work and Entity Release, Psychopomp and House Clearing, as well as Past Life work.
During 2016, I qualified in Energy Work; Levels 1 and 2 and learned how to transmute energy, cleanse and balance chakras and work with addictions, cleansing the aura. This practice upholds unconditional love with a deep commitment to ourselves; others and the world around us. Please contact me if you’d like an appointment for me to work energetically with you.
I also gained Kinesiology certification, which deepened my understanding of the Triad of Health.
I run a Women’s Group that meets monthly, normally around the New Moon. The aim of the group is to honour the Divine Feminine, to learn, to grow, to support and nourish each other. Please check the Facebook page for details and updates and feel free to join the group.
